Wrapped in curls, twists and weaves of copper wire, this Arizona snakeskin jasper heart is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of artistic jewelry. The burnt orange tone of the jasper offers a surprising but intriguing contrast with the graceful and romantic wire wrap styling, a perfect fusion of Boho earthiness and Art Nouveau romance, especially with the mysterious blue flash of the faceted labradorite briolettes and the iridescent glass seed beads.
The pendant piece is large enough to make a statement, yet small enough to play it casual. The heart itself is 1.75 X 1.75 inches. Instead of chain I chose to use forest green rattail cord finished with a hand forged swan neck clasp and extender chain that makes the necklace adjustable from 18 inches to 19.75 inches.
