Like a topographical fantasy land map, or like delicate black tree branches on an earthen background, this large asymmetrical chohua jasper heart with black dendritic branching is a work of art painted by nature. I used some Art Nouveau style tendrils and curls of copper wire, along with pink rhodocrosite coins, faceted black onyx, and rose gold colored hematite to accentuate the stone's earthy beauty.
The neck cord is hand dyed black silk coupled with velvety velour ribbon in earthy shades of pink and gray. With a hand forged swan neck clasp made of copper and several copper links, the cord length is adjustable from 18.5 to 20.5 inches.
