The bright colors of ruby red and teal green dance amidst graceful lines of golden hued bronze wire in this elegant elven wire wrapped ear cuff. Touches of wire weaving and hand forging techniques add extra grace to this one-of-a-kind wire bouquet for your ear. I created this cuff to fit the left ear, with the graceful straight descending wire to accentuate the curve along the ear lobe.
Ear cuffs are easy to wear. The trick is to first slip the ear cuff around the outer shell at the top of the ear, known as the helix, and it can help to hold the top of your ear taut while slipping the cuff on. Then you slide it down the ear until it also catches the lower ridge of cartilage on the inside of the ear near the ear lobe. You can adjust the ear cuff up or down and you can squeeze or stretch the ear cuff slightly for a better fit.
There is no need for pierced ears to wear this cuff, although you can certainly add a little extra bling to your look by wearing a complimentary stud or dangle.
Overall length is 1 3/4 inches from the top curl near the forged leaves to the tip of the descending wire.
